Senior Analysts at FXA

David Gilmore, responsible for managing FXA's fundamental coverage, has many years of experience in providing on-line analysis to the currency and fixed income markets. Prior to founding FXA in 1994, Mr. Gilmore spent seven years providing on-line commentary in New York and London with MCM CurrencyWatch and MMS International. Mr. Gilmore earned a Master's degree in Economics from the London School of Economics. He has been frequently quoted in the financial press and is seen regularly on television as a commentator on the currency market.

David Solin, managing FXA's technicals, has numerous years of experience providing on-line commentary for the global capital markets. Prior to co-founding FXA, Mr. Solin worked as manager of foreign exchange sales at Toronto Dominion Bank, and as a senior technical analyst at MCM CurrencyWatch. He also spent several years with United Technologies Corporation in corporate finance. Mr. Solin earned a Master's degree in Finance from Golden Gate University in California. He is a market expert frequently quoted in the press and interviewed on television.

Stephen Plant, covering sales and marketing duties has spent most of his career on the buy side. Mr. Plant was chief trader in FX, fixed income and commodities for George Soros at Quantum fund from 1984 to 1988. He worked as an economic and commodity analyst for Louis Bacon at Moore Capital from 1988 to 1994 after which he spent two years as a commodity analyst under Mike Aronstein at West Course Capital. Mr. Plant currently splits his time between his duties at FX Analytics and his cultured oyster farm operation.
